I thought this was a fitting quote for the Christmas season:
No-one has ever become poor by giving. -Anne Frank
During this Christmas season (and any other season), remember those who are less fortunate than yourself. Giving to others will not make you poor. Whether you want to call it karma, blessings, or just that good things happen to good people, it seems you always get something good in return when you are good to others.
It doesn't have to be money. It can be your time. It can be your talents. It can be a smile. It can be a visit. It can be a plate of treats or a home-cooked meal. It can even be the clothes your children have outgrown. We all have something we can give, and doing so certainly won't make us poor.
